Pasta with minced meat is one of the most classic Greek recipes and the definition of comfort food. In this version, everything is cooked in a single pot for maximum convenience, without compromising on flavor.

Ingredients

  • 500 g lean beef minced meat

  • 350 g pasta
  • 700 g concentrated tomato juice

  • 1 onion, finely chopped

  • 1 garlic clove, finely chopped

  • 1 tsp honey

  • 2 tbsp tomato paste

  • 1 tbsp Worcestershire sauce


  • 750 ml vegetable or beef stock

  • 1 tbsp olive oil

  • dried oregano, thyme
and basil

  • parsley finely chopped, for serving

  • grated parmesan, for serving

  • salt
and freshly ground pepper

Directions

  1. For the one-pot pasta with minced meat, heat the olive oil in a large pot and sauté the onion and garlic until softened.
  2. Add the honey and tomato paste and stir well.
  3. Add the minced meat, salt, oregano, thyme, basil, and Worcestershire sauce, and cook for about 10 minutes.
  4. Then add the tomato juice, stock and pasta and boil for another 10 minutes, stirring occasionally.
  5. Sprinkle with grated Parmesan and freshly chopped parsley, then serve immediately. Enjoy!
